Alerts seem to re-trigger quite a bit, and there is no co-responding arrow. Maybe you are checking the alert every fresh candle?

Having watched this system through the Asian sessions last week, it would NOT have worked on the current pairs, in fact, it might have been an ok contrary indicator. So, use caution in adapting this to an asian session. Perhaps some asian / ...

Fine, then if a losing trade occurs between 6:00 and 7:00 GMT I will expect you to have taken it and it occur in your results. No "It was before Frankfurt so I skipped it". As long as your consistent I do not care.

Actually I just ignored the colors, I know quite well when Frankfurt opens, its about the time my kid gets home from school and makes trading a challenge. I meant as a general strategy, add appropriate trading times to the PDF, to specify that ...

Thats the setting for a parameter. Technically the PDF does not say when to trade. I was my trading times on the Frankfurt open as discussed in the thread. However, based on that parameter, I think it likely Peter backtested as you traded, unless he ...

The Frankfurt open is the bar that crossed the MA, at least on my chart. Your trade filled sometime between then and early London open. The Arrow was from well back in the asian session. I understand your point, I just am not sure I agree on taking ...

Stopped out at +1.

Entered EJ long at 103.30 from the bar after up arrow signal. Currently the stop is set at +1, and the trade flirts with the sell.

Well, this is where having a smaller spread helps out, I missed the SL by 1/2 a pip. According to the rules I should have sold on the down arrow I believe, which would have been -8 or so.

My arrows match up, but most the bars are green. I suspect broker differences.
- Chicopips replied Nov 23, 2011
Peter, You might want to see if there is something to amend the strategy to account for hard to trade times, like now on the EJ where the signal is flipping practically every bar. Maybe require some level of MA distance before creating another alert? ...

I found out the hard way your chart wont work right if you accidentally close the 1m chart. Oops. Ah well, at least no money was lost, only opportunity missed.

Is not your last EU arrow an up one? Thus no short triggered?

Please be careful to be inelegant in your writing style, apparently certain styles are frowned upon if they infringe on the style of other members in certain standing in the Forex Factory forum. Glad to see a thread to support this simple yet ...
