You typically use a 10-20 pip stop... is that for PPZ breakouts our classic PA trades as well? Ross

Nice analysis jarroo, I like your clean and simple charts too. I'm in with you on AUD/USD. Not an A+++ setup, but great location with confluence. That pb is off a solid PPZ, the back of a descending TL, and 3rd bounce of a rising TL. If it breaks ...

That may be true in some cases, but the best part about this method is that "understanding" news isn't necessary to trade successfully. We look for great bars at great places. Who cares what "created" the PA bar? It doesn't matter if it was a news ...

Technically, the BUOB is still valid until the low of the bar is broken. Ross

I am no touch expert, but allow me to give my thoughts. Price is not at a significant area with the exception of the 11.00 round number. Touch trading is all about location and confluence. The more time and space there is between touches, the more ...

Jarroo, Take a look at pulling a fib from the bigger swing, 138.715 to 129.034. The 61.8 lines up with the big RN 135 and imo a more solid PPZ Ross

They can be tough, but yet they are so rewarding when you get in early, PA develops, and then you can add to the trade and play it as you would any other PA trade. Through backtesting and demo, I've found that touch entries work best with the trend ...

Awesome trades Jim! You've really inspired me to take the PA you taught us a step further and learn to enter on touches of Daily charts. Here is a trade I am currently in, already have 1/2 pos off the table and stop at BE

Nice trade! That's a pretty chart too! Is all you have on your chart PPZs? Or do you incorporate MAs, TLs, and fibs? Ross

Hey Triger, Personally, I prefer bar charts because it is easier for me to see price action, ppzs, and trendlines. It is really just personal preference though. Try bar charts for a couple months and then try candlestick charts for a couple months ...

SP, A lightbulb just went on in my head after reading this. "traffic" is just another way of saying that there are more s/r levels around your trade where others are placing orders opposing to yours and price is likely to react at these levels. I ...

Wow, good stuff Joel. I always enjoy reading your posts. You offer great insight into the world of institutions and the big players that make up the markets. I can somewhat understand why "most hedge funds don't trade PA as a methodology", but then ...

Josh, I am still in this trade. Entry at 84.10 Moved stop to BE once it broke through the 84.50 trouble area. If today closes above 85, I will move my stop under 85 to lock in profit. My target is 85.80. Ross

Rac, just wanted to clarify, you bought on the break of the bar with the yellow arrow? You saw the buovb begin to form, and instead of waiting for the bar to close as a buovb and wait for the traditional entry trigger, you bought when the high of ...
