Did the correct price hit your line? ie a sell needs the Ask to hit the line in order to execute (because sells are closed based on Ask price). Could this explain what you are seeing? Also, it could be that the market just touched the line briefly ...

You can use the ex4 file also just by copying it in to the experts/indicators folder and restarting MT4. mq4 files are only the source code.

I beg to differ ... but yes you can. EA's are coded (or at least SHOULD be coded) to follow a set of rules. If the rules don't work on an M15 then that is not a fault with the EA. It just means the system the EA is following is not designed to work ...

That is actually a fairly common error and has nothing to do with what you are testing. It is basically a gap in the tick data being sent to MT4. Nothing really to worry about and I treat it the same as the broker going offline for a moment
