Highs on price chart need to be matched with highs on your MACD. Same goes for lows, so your line is drawn wrongly on the MACD. Please read url . Connecting the lows, there seems to be a slight hidden bullish divergence in your MT4 MACD which isn't ...

Hi eo, just dropping by to see what's new. That looks like a H&S forming on the daily but there isn't much room after the break of the neckline to the trendline. Heck we could even be stuck in that ~1000 pip trading range around 1.46 to 1.56 which ...

Since I was watching this pair as well, here's my 2c. See what the breakout on the down move ran into? Seems like a retest of a previous resistance turn support on the 15m TF

Just what I needed to know, thanks.

For users on live accounts with Alpari uk, Are the pending orders (limit/stop) restricted to 20 pips and 30 pips from the market for the EU and GU respectively? This is what I'm seeing on the demo and would like to confirm if it's the same for live ...

Jacko's thread has something on anti hedging which I think is similar to what we're talking about. It's just another tool imo, like leverage, double edged sword depending on how you swing it.

Infinity, just curious but do you trade using these MAs as s/r on other pairs?

Taking a trade now is really in the middle of no where. (right smack in the middle of descending yellow trendline and ascending grey trendline). Although in the larger picture, price is arguably closer to the top than bottom. (yellow trendlines)

lower high on price, higher high on macd = hidden bearish divergence lower low on price, higher low on macd = regular bullish divergence so which way now? haha.. thanks for bringing this to our attention, don't think I've seen this before, would be ...

(To no one in particular) I didn't realise Bobokus has ventured off to greener fields. This is one of my very first threads here at ff, and this is a guy I highly respect for sharing so much and opening my eye to fibs. So all the best for your ...

Say you have 2 short targets like on your EU and you're shorting both, would you be placing the stop for the first short behind your 2nd short target and the stop for the 2nd short behind a 3rd resistance level? Well done looking at even obscure ...

Thank you for this Infinity, I had been wondering how to resolve this without getting stopped out too early or missing out on a trade. Now to see if I can work anything off your example. Much appreciated!

I admire your discipline seeing how I'm tempted to take the long at 4750. Still have half a trade short from 4970 so we'll see how this goes when price hits either.

Frankly I can't see how your indicators would say otherwise after Euro's run up and Cable's run down, no?

Whenever I get tempted to close early, I ask myself if this would be a price where I'm willing to take on a reverse trade. Not sure if it'll work for you but it makes me think twice and re-evaluate the charts. For eg, Cable I'm considering going ...

What I didn't like about some pinbars though are the large SL which skew the R:R ratio. Not all the time but in this case like the CAD with the first support being so close, perhaps this is more relevant for counter trend pinbar trades, just thought ...

Hope you had a blast on your birthday, Steelhead. Because your style is so eerily similar to how I've been shaping up on my demo, I must ask you this. Where would you place your stops for the GBPUSD entries at post #49 as well as the USDCAD entry at ...

Sounds good, I do expect a retrace within the pin bar with the steep drop in the closing hours on friday and 1.2790 seems like a good place for a short if anyone's into more risky pinbar plays. CAD rates out on tues though, hope that won't interfere ...

Do you typically enter via sell a stop or retrace after the break?
