Speaking for myself as it relates to the daily timeframe, chaos has been chaotic to say the least. 2011 did not favor trend following systems, and trend followers in general have had an inconsistant time in the last few years. I have modified my ...

Yousafzai, Thanks for the video, that was great. Its amazing what you can learn when you get someone elses perspective! Really like the web site also. Regards, Greenriver

I agree with Yousafzia and Slight. Contra-trend trading is a fools game even using the Elloitt Wave. The simpler you make this system the better. Fractals out of a saddle point are the way to go. I do just fine not paying attention to the wave and ...

Here ya go Unchained. The bullish version. From the last post the Euro still had to finish out 5th or C small wave down, bottoming with a BRB bar and turning up strongly. Still a lot of overlap in this pattern, wouldn't be suprised by a double ...

Richard, The Green River is where I used to go fly fishing every year in Utah with my Dad and brothers. Sadly, he is too old to make the trip anymore, but he fished and hunted from 5 yrs old to 81 yrs old! Hope I make it that long. I always took it ...

Hi Richard, Remember from Trading Chaos 1st Ed on page 125, the number of bars you need for an Elliott Wave Pattern, so too soon for the daily. You are looking at either a completed 5 waves with a wave 2 retrace (Big wave 3 now starting) or a 4th ...

Bump — Its been a while since anyone's posted so here are two veiws of the Euro(Futures). One bearish and one bullish, at this point its a toss up but my bias is to the downside.

Yes I was! Here is the chart and thanks for your answer. You are so right about forums. I normally don't post, but lurk! I would never post realtime because Murphy's Law would see to it to make me wrong everytime! Thanks again

Here is a trade example of the GBP futures. Look how much I left on the table, but I don't care, I was able to grab some $'s and get out quick. This is not the chaos way. Thats why I mentioned earlier I was working on letting things run more, but to ...

Trading Chaos cannot be programmed, and that is its most appealing quality in my mind. I would say chaos needs a little fib and ewave. I was breakeven the first year trading by "the book", then just started tweaking it a bit. I had more than my ...

Wiseman 1 would have cleaned up over the last week. Wheat, GBP, AUD, corn, beans, indexes, metals, the whole shootin match. Also, if I had been paying attention, a lot of wave 4 bottoms coinciding with said Wiseman 1's. Thats what makes it ...

Hi Richard, not a lot to be truthful. In fact it messed me up for a little bit trying to incorporate the Wisman 1, but thats just me, I still recommend reading it. I use Wiseman 2 and 3 in my trading. My feeling was that trading chaos 2 was a ...

Take a look at the Euro chart, its plain as day. Using either of their methods your going to make money, there is no secret. The best advice I can give is buy all three books. Treat them as your second religion, I do. My wife calls them my bibles. ...

earret: Only end of day. Requires huge amounts of patience to wait for the perfect setup during the corrective periods. I dont use wisman #1, I could never make it work for my personality. Alligator: There's no secret, its just what works for my ...

+1000 There is such a delicate balance between all of the pieces of this system, it is truly amazing to see it unfold in front of your eyes when you get the right "recipe". It may be slightly different for each one of us, but its there within the ...

Very nice call Unchained! Now we should be looking towards 1.4950 for a top at minimum for this wave 3. The question is, does it need to pause for a little longer before moving up? Regards, John

The 3 fractal setup he is refering to is basically a "saddle point" from Bill's book "New Trading Dimensions". They work very well but are few and far between these days at the daily level. Markets are just too volitale to let them setup.

I too have struggled with the Wisman 1 signals. In fact I have removed it from my charts and gone back to the "New Trading Dimensions" style of trading. The problem I am having now is that saddle points are becoming rarer. It used to be I could find ...
