I'm in from 1.31347 based on 1H/4H. Let's see what the bulls can do here. image

Nice work. That's a bunch of trades. What kind of leverage do you have on the account that you're running this test on? TF

When the Band Golden Ratio.ex4 is loaded on a chart, the expert tab constantly reports this error: 2019.09.11 23:21:00.325 cannot open file ...

Simple is good, and I love H4. Anyone else having trouble seeing any arrows? Have tried many restarts, reloading indicators, loading bar data, even two different broker platforms, still no dice. Just something on my end? TF

Agree. I ran with 50% this week and was down quite a bit. Switched the H1 off but may try it again with 100%. If I may ask, what ADR% are you using for H4 and D1 if indeed you are trading those timeframes? I am at 100% for H4 and 150% for D1. TF

I see that restarting MT4 at least temporarily corrects this issue. TF

That's like every robot ever made, and you already have released such a tool! There are already several variables that can be freely set by the user. I gave you an example of that in my previous post. This is comparing apples to oranges, and you ...

Whoa, man. Nobody asked you to come up with any numbers or to predict the future. I only suggested that it might be nice for the users to have the option to limit the spacing between trades. Nothing more. You could even include a variable to either ...

No, not talking about the width of the bands. We can already test that with Extreme Price (%ADR). This would be once price is already in extreme territory and would enable us to specify a minimum distance between orders so that you don't have ...

It is no hunch that it opened 4 EURJPY buy orders within 7 pips, which I think we can agree isn't ideal. It's like taking one position at four times the normal risk. I don't know what the best number is, which would be the whole point of a variable ...

I know this has been discussed previously in the thread by @Viktory and others, but I do think it would be nice to have a setting for MinDistanceBetweenOrders. I noticed today I had my 4 EURJPY orders opened in the space of only 7 pips. Ideally ...

They do that to "protect" us. In reality, some of the rules make trading MORE risky, such as disallowing hedged trades. TF
- turtlefan replied Sep 3, 2019
Whoa. That is a horrible risk/reward ratio, friend. Do you realize you have to win 9.5 trades for every loss you incur? Meaning your win percentage has to be 95% just to break even! TF

For the last time, this was not being traded as a martingale system! Sheesh.
- turtlefan replied May 21, 2019
LOL. Actually, no, you don't get to just make up your own definitions. You can't say "martingale means such and such FOR ME". The word "martingale" has a very definite and specific meaning that you need to learn before you talk about it. Here is the ...
