I have read the complete thread and cubby said initially that as long cci was crossing 90 levels on cci this was still valid. There are others that wait for cci to be established below/above 90.

So to be completely certain - the 90 level should have been already hit before you take the trade - i.e. if you get a break the previous candle close should have created a CCI above 90 level.

Vantage, Do you trade the candle if it is showing that the -90/+90 will be broken or do you make sure that the previuos candle has broken these points?

Hi Vanatage, Could you tell me where you found this rule for cubbys system? ie the latest swing low is the 2 point of a 1 2 3 low, the next break of low would be a sell of that 2 point. Cubby advises that he just uses last swing high/low - not ...

Hi Forex, The candle that you signal "high" - go long off of the high on that one. You do not need to wait any longer. There would be possbily be another entry later on - you label as "broken high and entry". It is always best to get on the break of ...

Hi Forex1962, I can see where you are going wrong. You are waiting for a high and then another high (then taking the trade of this last high). You need to simply take a break of the last high. Hope that makes sense.

- ACartwright replied Feb 9, 2011
The chart you post does not have one item on it that resembles cubbys system. Apart from candletsticks and some swing highs and swing lows.

"Most cannot see the difference, they place the trade whenever they see rules met and that's when they loose." I thought that was the whole point to the strategy. When rules are met you place the trade or am I missing something?
