This is discretionary but if I understand correct, any candle that starts a consolidation after a trend can be considered a PTECZ?

Same question for the ceiling ptecz in weekly also, it is a green candle preceded by a green candle.

Hi dadas, pardon my ignorance but how can the floor ptecz in the mn chart #1 be a ptecz as it is a red candle and the prev candle is also a red one?
- forextrader9 replied May 14, 2013
Excellent, makes sense. So, the body should be shorter than the previous trend candle for it to be PTECZ. Thanks Dadas.

Thank you Dadas. The second last candle is a redone bigger than the prev green candle. Also, the long green candle between 29 jul and 10 aug 2011 is bigger than the prev red candle. How can those be ptecz? Am I missing something?

Hi Dadas, thank you for your incredible work. I have read the whole thread and digested most of it. I have also started mapping out PTECZ on my charts. This above mapping of yours is confusing as you have mapped seveal candles which aren't ptecz. ...

Thank you Mr. Pip, basically, this question was from your video covering the AUD/USD ABCD trade. The below post: video (around 13:03 into your video) - you say it is an ABCD and not AB=CD Post# 541 Jan 3, 2013 5:09pm (18 hr ago) We trade what we ...

Hello Mr. Pip, pardon me if this is already covered. In this video, at about 13:07, you say it is a ABCD pattern. How can it be one when price went all the way up above A before it crossed B in it's retracement? It bounced off below 76.8, came down ...

I am sorry, I meant 78.6.
- forextrader9 replied Jan 25, 2013
ok got you, thanks. The smaller swing touched 76 but didn't close below it. Thanks.

Pardon my ignorance but how is this an aggressive C buy? The retrace stopped before 61 and didn't touch it. Shouldn't it at least retrace till 61 for a C?
- forextrader9 replied Jan 24, 2013
All that you do is much appreciated Mr. Pip. Quick question - target for ABCD PRZ trade is 61 of AD. However, if candles move up in the PRZ, then reverses and again goes up in the PRZ, will our D move higher and hence 61 of AD change to give us a ...

That makes perfect sense, thank you. Based on your response on a different post, having just a confluence of harmonics/pattern and fib extension of AB is weak. We need to look at other fibs, what would these be? BC?
- forextrader9 replied Jan 23, 2013
Thank you. So, in other words, you do not just enter a trade because the conditions for ABCD are met, you wait for price rejection at a PRZ before placing a trade. Only if price action confirms is that a PRZ, otherwise it is not? Also, what do you ...

Mr. Pip, great thread and thanks for your time and efforts. I read this thread and it reinforced my long held view that fibs are the right way to go. With confluence of ratios and patterns/harmonics, this is magical! I had one question on entry. ...

Is it permissible by US law for US residents to open a forex trading acct with FinFx? Is there some document to back this up?
- forextrader9 replied Aug 25, 2011
Pls let us know when you find a trader who isn't complaining of these new rules. Just curious if your statement is backed by facts. Highly doubt it.
- forextrader9 replied Aug 23, 2011
Kindly help me understand. The new regulations don't allow US residents to open forex accts with overseas brokers, correct?
- forextrader9 replied Aug 23, 2011
Can US residents open accts with finfx?
