hey Bundy, thanks a lot for this post, you explained it really well that was exactly the kind of explanation i was looking for (especially because of the chart, it makes your point very clear). nonick

hey Bundy, thanks for the great post! i'm not sure i understood the quoted part correctly though. What do you mean by "don't look for bar highs as such"? Do you mean that one should look for strong s/r areas and not single bar highs? Could you ...

hi squeezy, thanks for the feedback and of course you're right, this setup could be even better if it had more space to go. i'm aware of 79 rd number, i was just looking to enter with a sell stop, after a quick break of this level. but as you said, ...

same setup on AJ : h4 beob engulfing 5 previous bars, good shape, off 80 rd number + 61.8%, divergence on h1. If it breaks, 78.65-78.50 could be a good target.

yes, thanks for the explanation...glad it worked out for you, squeezy hey Ben, that's the reason why i didn't take this breakout. Like you, i was watching this area very closely, since the price tested it 5 times and i knew that a breakout could ...

hi squeezy, what was your PA signal to sell UC? Was it just a normal sell stop? i'm asking because it doesn't look like there was a proper pullback after that breakout and there wasn't any PA i'd take. thanks, nonick

Hi Ben, interesting observation i believe that Mike almost always cancels his order if a PA bar doesn't trigger by the next bar. He explains it exactly as you did : if a PA bar doesn't break, there's no momentum. And if there's no momentum, then ...

fat_tom, supreme : imo this setup, although it's not perfect, could turn out to be a good one, on daily, there's a double top with bearish divergence and 365ema, and on weekly this setup is off 60ema. i'd be aware of 155, which is a big rd number ...

as long as your BEOB has a higher high and a lower low, and the close is somewhere in the bottom, you can call it a BEOB. But it's always better if a BEOB closes below the low of the previous bar, as it'd give the signal more strength.

here's another one : sold eu yesterday, @4170, (original stop was 30p) : 61.8% ret + 150ema, good for 35pips

@supremeChaos : i'll try here's a trade i nearly got into : limit sell at 1.6555, which is a ppz, a 50% fib retracement and there's also 150ema there. should've placed my order 5 pips lower.

thanks Mike wasn't sure whether i should post charts like these or not, since not all of the highlighted setups are really obvious. but i'm sure everyone can find at least some setups they'd also take.

hi all, posting some of my old charts, from the beginning of july. i didn't take all of these setups, only the best-looking ones(those with a lot of space). i hope, it might help some of you to see the difference between A+ and the average setups ...

yes, i think they might be even better if they occur somewhere in the middle of a move, not at a swing high/low, since they're mostly continuation, not reversal setups, as you said.

hey jaroo, took a similar setup on aj, : what i liked more about this setup is that both IBs are under ema60 and the TL.my risk on this one was very low, as i don't take double IBs that often. guess where i placed my tp

hi jim, i took that one also and closed one half at b/e, the other half at -50, so this trade went for me about the same as it did for you (that makes me a little proud )i guess, two month ago, i would still be in this trade... i was really ...

happy birthday — hi all, i'd also like to wish happy birthday to this thread and of course to all the great people here : James, Mike, Seeking, Jaroo, Raczek, Ghous and everyone else too. I don't post a lot here, but i do read all of your ...

hey ghous, i think i found one of your reversal pins on au, at 0.7, which is a strong ppz. i didn't take it (i don't trust this signal yet), just interesting to observe. my first tp would be at the marked area, around .6930
- nonick replied Mar 19, 2009
another example of how all feeds show the same signals : there is a h4 pin on ibfx, right off this area + 365ema i didn't take it because i entered a little earlier and got out at 1.25...
