Well the problem is that those Micro-Futures are not very liquid. Spreads are often 3-4 Ticks and more in EUR/USD for example and depending on market-conditions you get lots more slippage than trading the EuroFX or Spot Fx over an ECN. Also the ...

Tell us once you have some criteria that might make a backtest possible. On 2IBs on 4h-charts, it works great in EUR/GBP for example (I don't know why, started about a year ago, before it was no good), but doesn't do well on the majors... Marco

While I don't think bob did everything 100% right I think Adam hit some point here. I personally like to get my believes and ideas challenged, and that's what bob did. If they can't keep standing on some new input/critics then it was probably BS. ...

I'd say it's a good trade compared to the other ones shown, and it simply was a loss - no big deal. But I'm sure someone will come up with a reason or more why you shouldn't have taken that one ;-)

Good point Josh, on the other side it's important to make clear, that you won't make big money trading the dailies if you got a small account. It's simply the truth, however you manage it, if you get 2-3R per month on average on the dailys trading ...
