ODL — I've been with ODL for about a year, and I've had no issues at all with there service. No slippage and spread widening, and lot's of pairs and other markets to choose from. I don't trade the news, so don't know how their server behaves ...

Not very patient — No offense. Me neither, which is why I think the round numbers rule helps me to not over trade. I have a buy stop @ 1.5850. If it misses by a few pips, there's always tomorrow, but if it hits, then any orders above ...

Fear — The best thing to do is use the smallest lots you can trade with. It's real money, but not enough to hurt if you lose. I have found this helps with dealing with the emotional part of trading.

Retrace — If I'm understanding Feb right, you need to wait for the price to break above the previous high point by a few pips before taking the long.
