Hey tradability, This has never happened to me so is more a logic based risk reduction decision. I have indeed known this to have happened to someone.

Hey, I will risk no more than 4% of my account. My stop loss will be relative to my risk reward ratio for any given time frame. For example if my target is 100 pips my stop loss may be 40pips for 2.5 risk reward ratio

I would always use a stop loss. Without a stop loss you risk the calamity of losing your internet connection and having the trade go against you.

Hey, I trade 1-3 times a week on average. If I am risking 2% of my account on each trade and I have a couple of successful outcomes this can increase my account size by more than 10% in a given week. Which is of course substantial.
