Hey MJ, Are you keeping a log anywhere outside of this thread, for example Evernote? You seem to be doing really well with the system!

You've got to put the chart in landscape mode to get the drawing tools.

I'm in the same boat as you, currently on demo but wanting to go live. I think there is only so much you can learn on demo, once you get the "knowledge" pretty well, I really think its VERY difficult to learn the "psychology" on demo which is what I ...

Guys - another question here regarding entries. Obviously we are taught to wait for a nice reversal bar (in our direction) to close before we enter. However these bars are often quite strong and as such not only are you losing out on pips, but you ...

Mr Pip (or anyone else in a similar situation) I have a question about trading times. My main struggle at the minute is that with work being a lot busier than it has been in the last 12 months (which were unusually quiet), I don't get time to look ...

Hi Aj1, I have tried this indicator out before as well after it was previously mentioned on here and I stopped using it because it isn't a "live" chart per se. What I mean by that is that it mimics the time chart and derives a tick chart from that, ...

Thanks for this - I might go for the tick chart package as I actually prefer the simplicity of MT4 after playing around with NT.

Trades I managed to take today on EURUSD and GBPUSD. I aimed for a 1:1 and didn't really aim to trail beyond there, but rather reenter on a good retrace and other rules per my trade plan. 6 moves: 3 TPs, 3 BEs

It's really great to hear you're doing well tim! I must get around to watching your videos!

If 95% of "traders" fail, I'll take those odds. I'll back myself against 19 scorned, crying babies like Mingary etc. every time. I'm just over a year into my journey and more determined than ever despite not making a penny. Others can do it, ...

It's absolutely unbelievable, right? I bet today was a bad day in general for retail traders...

Interested to see other opinions on this - mine is: 1) the big move up seems very violent, news event? possibly not representative of general market direction 2) since then, all the power has been with the bears until hitting the 78 level, but price ...

Mr Pip, Like others have mentioned I think the trade management side will be very difficult to perfect. It seems that most of your trades you exit by hitting a trailing SL, whether it's BE or on down the line. I was wondering just what % (roughly of ...

Thanks Damian - so you were also trading against your expectation when you took this trade?

Do you not think that in this case the new high is SO small, that its barely a NSH at all? Instead a 100% correction? Or is a NSH ALWAYS a NSH, even if its half a point? Mr Pip?

I was wondering the same thing!! I'm assuming he went long though?? I'm not familiar with the Ninja Trader icons.

Hi Evocpr, Are you using MT4 or MT5? I'm interested to know what drawing tools you are using as in MT4 which I am using they are almost non-existant! Thanks Edit: never mind I didn't realise you could modify the trend line tool!

I think you answered your own question here. Mr Pip is steering us in exactly the right direction, dozens of posts a day from amateurs (among whom I count myself) recommending trades and posting every thought or update does nothing but steer us ...

Ujku80, no offence but do you think you could post a bit less? Every time I log in it seems you have posted 10 more comments when posting once and updating that post would be enough. I don't feel your trade calls are particularly helpful and in ...

Sure, price ultimately picked up where it left off (I had an EURUSD long open before Non Farm) but you'd need to be mad to leave a trade open in this kind of environment without at least a very tight SL. Even then, with the kind of volume and ...
