- Calculating Probability of a pair's trend - help
I need a way to calculate the probability of a pair (most likely very trendy ones like GBPNZD) ...

Probably this: url and the upcoming rate decision, RBNZ wants to devalue NZD, so surprise rate cut could happen. But how to cut the rates when your housing is already very hot?

Actually the fact that they made no reference to future makes me think that there will be a cut in the next meeting unless the data come much better, but unlikely looking at the consumption in GDP numbers, they were all down except govt's.

This pair has been my favorite in the last week, I keep shorting it and it keeps giving me pips If only I could manage to hold it longer and not take my profits....

Unfortunately I do not, but I don't think it is about correlations. Simply G/U * U/J = G/J, and this fact is not related to correlation between GJ and GU or GJ and UJ. I would look into it, if I could have access to the data sources that you have, ...

Do you drive these data only from G/J orders or do you combine GU and UJ orders? Because I was thinking what drives GJ up or down is GU and UJ, I might be wrong of course. Let's say lots of orders at 1.5330 at GU and lots of orders at 119.50 at UJ.. ...

I think if they cut the rates, it will go up to 1.26-1.27 at least, because rate cut is not expected and I do not think it will happen. And if they keep the rates same, it will go down to 1.24 initially and then what they say in the statement about ...

Actually this shows a clear uptrend and it is better to be long on this and it will eventually test the the line at the top. However, I am heavily short. from 1.5450... 1.55 would stop me out. And it did break 1.5480 as we speak.

For me the biggest mistake is to add to losing positions, and second mistake is to add more to the second lot that i added to the first losing position and so on... And i just cant stop doing it...

As far as I have seen, everyone is long at this pair, which makes me want to go long small, with a wide stop and wide target.
