I would look for a broker who got through the swiss crisis without too many problems, doesn't make much loss per Q and is at least 5 years in the game. There are several, who fulfill the criteria.

The only thing I can report about IC, is that their slippage is higher than with my old Admiral Markets account (which, I guess, wasn't really ECN, at least the older accounts were clearly MM). But until now I can't report crashes or scam.
