Definitely, there needs to be a balance between the two, otherwise you'll neglect one! It does seem that most people have to learn by doing, and it's difficult to pull it off first time!

Yeah that's a good idea too! I'm always keeping my eyes peeled for useful Forex information from the pros! Maybe the Forex Factory should think about organising little how-to guides, is there already a YouTube channel? (forgive my ignorance )

I imagine most of the big, successful Forex brokers spend most of their time being big, successful Forex brokers! Webinars seem more popular than Youtube videos, but I used to see plenty of traders doing videos online, not sure why they've died out ...

Is this a recommended tactic? Or more for people that don't want to risk too much? I suppose you'd have a steady winning rate, but with no risk, where's the thrill? haha

Lack of experience has to be the big one! You can read all the 'how to' guides but still be useless when it comes to actually making a trade!

My choice would be IC Markets True ECN / Pepperstone Razor. Has not frozen on me and have been using for around 4 months

Haha! Thankfully I can listen to anything of my choice.. I go for a lot of acoustic blues. I keeps me calm, happy relaxed and focused.
