Hi Kaloko, I'm seeing price as just bouncing off of monthly and weekly demand and too high in the curve to buy into. I also see H4 in a down trend so for me the only thing is shorts. Hope that helps, Greg image image

Thanks Alfonso, It's good to know I drew them correctly and I do understand your strategy for HTF trading. I'm sorry I won't be able to make the webinar but 4AM here in California is a bit too early. I will look forward to the video though. Greg

I am taking the EU H4 short. It appears to be inside D1 F&O and Weekly F&O supply so I have drilled down to H4..what do you guys think? There is also an H1 level further up I set if this one doesn't work out. Greg image image

Hi fandarana, be careful, it's a doji and in my humble understanding of the rules dojis are not good to trade off of. Also, on my charts I am inside weekly demand so I can only go long from here....good luck with your trade. Greg

Hi Alfonso, I hope you don't mind but I need to pick your brain a little. This concerns the way SD zones in control are drawn and this pair is a very good example. The way I have drawn the monthly and weekly won't allow me to go long, only shorts, ...

Thank you very much for your explanation, Alfonso, it makes perfect sense when looking at the D1 CP from the HTF perspective. I will log it and remember it.

Hi Alfonso, I have a couple of questions concerning the AUDJPY trade you took the other day. First of all you mentioned that you had a S&F daily demand area you were going to trade off of but isn't that a counter trend CP and by rules should not be ...

Hi Markot, It seems to me you are too low in the weekly and daily curve to short that pair. Is there something I am missing with the Daily CP counter trend to your short entry? If I understand the rules that is still daily demand in control. I am ...

Thank you very much for your input Peter. Since I have just started trading demo a few months ago I know there are so many things to learn. One of the reasons I love this thread, it's so educational and I appreciate all input and criticisms. Even ...

Thanks for your help Peter. What I meant in my comments about being able to buy on the H4 demand area because it would be lower in the curve was that at the time I posted price was within 71% of weekly supply (so you wouldn't want to buy into the ...

Hi Alfonso or anyone else that might be able to help, I'm trying to understand something. I know you have shorted the EURGBP D1. I am looking at the demand zone that was just created when the daily supply you traded off of was taken out. It is F&O ...

Hi Outapips, I had almost the same analysis except that my broker shows the demand level on D1 as a reaction to the CP below so I was looking to trade the fresh zone after it bounces rather than the S&F on the fresh & original...damn decentralized ...

Hi Tok, I want to make sure I understand this because I've been doing this wrong. I always set my TP based on the entry level TF (demand area in this example) not the next HTF. I realize that price is more likely to bounce at HTF but I also thought ...

Thanks for your response Alfonso. As you can see by my post under your response i am still having some problems with entry TF trend lines. I know I don't have your experience, but I just don't see that many retracements that stay within the trend ...

Hi Nick, I didn't see you mention anything about trendlines on the entry TF (H4 or H1 in the above question) and this is where I think I have my biggest problem. I see pullbacks/retracements setting up nicely and will place an order and then realize ...

Hi Alfonso, I have a couple of questions for you or anyone else that might be able to help...I'm having a little trouble understanding trend lines. This is a buy limit trade I set up on NZDUSD H4. I realize that I am high in the curve right now on ...

Thank you Boby, I have a much better understanding also after Alfonso's explanation. The way I understand it is if you were trading the Daily TF you didn't need to wait for confirmation you could have traded the first supply zone set up but the H4 ...

Thank you Boby and Alfonso for the clarification. I knew the area was fresh as price approached but was thinking that once price hit the zone it was no longer fresh. I was trading these areas thinking they needed to take out opposing SD ...

I missed this entry also but if I'm understanding the rules we need to wait for confirmation now. Either with descending trendline or new level of supply set after demand is taken out. Here is the rule from post #1: "When higher timeframe area has ...
