You are referring to yourself in the third person? Anyway, nice trade on short gold. Seems you nailed the swing high with that one. You planning on holding that into FOMC?
- BoringIsGood replied Jan 27, 2014
Gold will move same direction as silver, just at a lower magnitude.

Heya Schick, Metals, especially silver, look interesting at this level. Lots of room to explode upside if FOMC comes in dovish. Just got long SLW @ 21.50 and the triple long silver ETF (USLV). This trade isn't for the faint of heart, lol.

Gold should test $1400 before the downtrend resumes.

Got the move up to just above 1.38 and then the dip lower as expected. Nice and easy and boring month so far. Merry Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate. P.S. Careful driving on snowy roads or you may have to call these guys.

Aw hell Schick, it's very possible. I haven't had a great handle on the markets since June, . The metals sure did get ripped a new one today. Silver around $18 starts looking very interesting for a big January relief rally.

December should be mostly consolidation but 1.38/1.3850 is on the cards before the move down to test 1.33. Or that's the story I'm sticking to.

If price is creating a flat 4, it'll go all the way up to 1.3850 before an ABC back down.

Very disappointing week for my euro shorts. I've thrown in the towel for a small loss. Rest of '13 looks like more of the same, grinding chop with a slight upward bias. What a horrible year for trend traders, looking forward to 2014.

11 traders viewing now, 1 is a member: BoringIsGood Nobody wants to admit they read my comments? Not a good idea to pick tops but just for fun I'm going to do it anyway. I think euro just made a swing high at 1.34489 on my platform. All down ...

I was early on this trade but today looks like it's the start of a leg down in the yen crosses and S & P. Still holding my SPXU.

hehe, Mario had enough of the euro's climb. Stop loss hit at 1.3420 and then limit short was filled just below 1.34 @ 1.3390.
- BoringIsGood replied Nov 6, 2013
Small bounce off previously mentioned 1.3450 followed by a retest and a bigger bounce. Right now euro behaving like a good girl should but Super Mario brings out the worst in her. Need to make it through tomorrow's festivities unscathed and if so, ...

Thanks for offering up your wave counts and sorry for the late reply. First off, great charts. Looks like your anticipated scenario has started off. I must admit, the strength of the downmove from 1.38 to 1.35 has been a surprise and is very ...

Posted this a month ago, still valid. Bought some euros at 1.3510. 1.3450 should provide massive support. I suspect this 1.35ish level will get tested again before a true bounce to 1.38, but those things will make themselves more apparent next week

I've talked some to Markus, he's moved on to a new thread called 'The Club'. I was just curious if you tried to reconcile your circular analysis with a potential wave count. For example, could you see a scenario within your circular analysis, where ...

Thanks for your circular analysis Kambooj. Do you try to incorporate wave analysis as well? If so, I'd be interested in seeing/sharing wave counts to see if they reconcile.

Hey Schick, Are you still bearish on eur/jpy or has the last couple days flat action changed your mind?
- BoringIsGood commented Oct 25, 2013
At least Bilal isn't compounding his mistake by flip flopping and trying to chase the euro above 1.50.
