The price is making a light converging triangle. Let's see what will happen then. Is it reliable during asian session ?
- fx_forever replied Jul 9, 2013
I am looking at the same because i am a suspicious. Money is hard to earn ! Don't like demo, prefer going live with 0.01 and increase with confidence. Let's see if it will continue to diverge, event at that late time. If it works it can be a good ...

I have a bad feeling. Never loses... I will stay away. But i won't give you my pips so easily ;-) A lot of these trades (look at signature) ends up in 1 or 2 pips, with no stop loss.... Maybe one day "BAAAAMMMMMM", juste a matter of time (3% of ...

The EURUSD was massively 'shorted' to 1.28. Retraces 100%. Rally up or down ? Let's wait for a signal. On a weekly basis, a big big converging triangle is forming (2010/2011/2012). Will the market finally choose one direction next year ?

Fake or fakey ?
- fx_forever replied Jul 2, 2013
Due to fakey at the begining of the week. R:R = 1:2 Entry short at 1.3050 / SL 1.3100 / TP 1.2950. TP can be widden if you see falling... This is a little bit too much : i should have had a first target at 1.30, (support) and then reentry 1.3025 ...

No players land between 1.30 / 1.31 Patience !
- fx_forever replied Jul 2, 2013
Bumps on the head... I would rather see in the chart a break of 1.3025 then a small plunge and back to retest 1.3025. Now it can fall deeper. this would confirm the fakey of the beginning of the week. This may not happen but is somewhat coherent.

Hi again, Maybe you know this old study (Citygroup) on trending strategies ? url It seems to be working, but with other strategies in parallel and mixing criteria. Don't put all our eggs in a single basket.

Exit when the fastest MA derivative (hope this is the right mathematical word...) changes sign. But the moving average strategies LOVE trending pairs, so this is not really an issue... The issue is in non trending markets... I always like to focus ...

AH AH AH AH !
- fx_forever replied Jun 27, 2013
Hi there, Is there a resume of all this thread, at least the basics of the two methods ? I'd like to make my own judgment. Has anybody really made provable money with one of them on medium/long term basis ? Thanks for your help.

Another happy day begins...
- fx_forever replied May 2, 2013
Thanks for sharing. I use breakout after price ranging in small pips (only on one pair). This is almost equivalent to a moving average with null slope for an amount of time or two moving averages wrapping each other horizontally and then... break.

Cornelis, may i ask you what is your idea to trade that mirror ? You trade divergence while almost all the time it has the same direction ? Thanks.
