If by repainting the offset of the starting value is meant, this may be a concern, but actually makes no difference for your strategy. Good luck.

I am under the impression that forwardtesting becomes backtesting the moment it is done. What difference is there between the bars of 2001 and 2020? When we test the the 2020 bars forward, once they have been tested are just as obsolete as the 2001 ...

If an SL is applied and it is not profitable anymore, what is your judgement? It has very high DD, so with an SL the loss(es) would have been effectuated...and the performance affected...can you stand this big a DD in the knowledge it could wipe out ...

This has only print output. Look at the "Experts" tab to read the output. It has no use as an indicator.
