05 July 2012 — 2 wins and 1 trade that I lost control. Account took a major hit. Acc value is now at $150.

Once you start trading large sizes, brokers hedges your position in the open market. Therefore whichever way your trade goes, they do not make a loss. When you reach thoses sizes(maybe from 10 lots and above?), you will notice that there is a time ...

It's against your brokers interest to push you out. Once your account size gets very large, say you are trading 20 lots or more, the amount of money they make off the spread is ridiculous.

Prehaps it would be helpful if you post some charts it would be easier for people to comment, also, stating the time frame in which you are trading also helps. Trading a 1 min chart is quite different than trading a D1 chart.

That strategy is too simplictic to tackle the beast that is forex. However, the idea has some merit. Supposed you construct a moving average of all economic numbers, ie CPI, GDP, etc etc... you could probably guess where the any particular is ...
