Interesting. That's way outside my relatively short term perspective. How would you interpret the past few hours considering your longer view?

Me too, but my day's about over.

.eg is starting to go up again... one interpretation is that someone is finding all kinds of money (unfortunate faders) as cable digs lower and lower outstripping .eu ... it just hit 6040.

I think the mission of gbpusd is to rip every stop between here and 1.6000 I should have bought eurgbp! image

May the force be with you!

(Yeah, you're right. The move was a fall, I got it backwards too.) Strike that. Never mind.

eurusd ran out of breath about an hour ago - cable just keeps diggin... it does that because it thinks there are bones down below (stops!). I might consider a long around 1.6031 (38.2 fib) but I'd watch it like a hawk.

Sorry I was referring to the fibo of the move from the high of 10/5 to the low of 10/9.

This thing has got business down below. Look how it's outrunning fibre (eurgbp just won't stop going up)... it only acts this aggressively when there's money to be made (yours, if your fading) down below

Should note that the fall broke the 38.2 fibo AND the Oct 3 low. (opens door to 6031)

Well, 13 p is no big deal if it continues.

I don't know about it going up again... looks like it's waiting for more long patsies to enter. (also, eurgbp won't come back down)
- RWalker replied Oct 18, 2012
Yes, but be careful about fading cause gbpusd is using this (eurusd) drop as an excuse to do a little stop running of its own... Look how eurgbp has risen. Cable has a ways more to drop!

No rumors? Okay. Is there a well-vouched trader here who knows something about detecting large commercial FX transactions of any kind?

...that was my EXIT price on a scalp. I thought I'd have to get out at the fib, but something told me I should hang in and I got an extra 5 pips at high leverage. For me, it was a great price! Correlation with other currencies that know I very well ...

Exxon weighing on u/c? — Do any of you usdcad guys know whether the currency aspect of the Exxon Celtic Exploration deal is going thru today? Got a good trade out of drop that fell below fib at .9789 - couldn't believe my luck (couldn't ...
