i personally do not see any difference for myself if leverage requirement go as low as 1:25 considering my risk management is tight. After all, forex is just...you know, part of investment game. like when you trade stock or bitcoin or whatever. I ...

i didnt have much of these problems back in march but in the past 2 weeks i kind of feel the same. i dont use pending orders but for all of my losses they always have at least 1 pip negative slippage outside of my SL. like let's say i put my SL at ...

i dont understand if this is just coincidence or not but in the past 2 weeks apparently slippages have been very terrible for my losing transactions. i have several losses and several wins in the past 2 weeks but i never had any positive slippage ...

you misunderstand my post. you said it yourself that forex is not zero sum game and i do believe the same. having an edge in forex means you CAN succeed and beat the commission and spread thing you keep mentioning in all your posts because your ...

trading is not the same with gambling. leverage and commission are not the one that destroy people account. it's their lack of discipline, money management, and the technique itself. trading is more like taking penalties in football. messi might ...

i agree. while i don't care much about such leverage change considering i will stay away from the market until next week, but I'm more curious about the financial health of icmarkets. i think pepperstone didnt send any email regarding ...

yes, got this one too. actually a bit upset about this. i am fully aware last week's SNB news caused huge storm to most brokers out there. i do understand icmarkets just want to manage their risk by limiting the leverage but they should only do this ...

i can confirm that on my new FXCM account the balance has been transferred. The open positions are also there. However, they reset the TP/SL so apparently have to edit it tomorrow.
- rsg10z replied Sep 20, 2014

- rsg10z replied Sep 20, 2014
quick question, about your "gone" open trades, is it shown as closed transactions in your ibfx account? in mine, it is being shown as closed transactions. basically ibfx automatically close all my open positions when they turned off their server ...
- rsg10z replied Sep 20, 2014
yeah me too. i was upset when ibfx all of sudden closed my open positions and at the same time no balance at all in fxcm. will keep an eye until next monday morning

i have been with ibfx AU too since almost a year ago. never had problem, maybe because i only trade in longer TF (daily candles). it's sad to hear IBFX/Monex Group has been going down recently (I read their recent quarterly earning reports) and i ...

totally agree. psychology is very very important and the hardest to master. this is the reason why i chose to trade only in higher timeframe H4/D1/W1/H8/H12, mainly D1. because back then i just couldn't hold the temptation to keep looking at chart ...
- rsg10z replied Feb 21, 2014
the hardest lesson? Surely about time management and being discipline. as we all know, forex psychology is very important and I think greed/fear play much bigger part when we "overanalyze" and monitor our positions way too often. I have been trading ...
