That is one hell of an encouragement coming from you. Thanks ,I needed that. And that Aha-moment you're talking about definitely rings a bell,I'm just slowly realizing that it's not going to come. Back to my charts ,happy trading to you all. ...

That is not what I meant.I don't trade like most people here (although I use most of the concepts presentd in this thread).I find plenty of trade opportunities and I haven't noticed any decrease in volatility myself. What I meant is that I have ...

How long did it take you until you where confident in what you are doing? My last 42 trades gave me 14 Winners,13Losers and 17BE with an average R/R of roughly 2/1(not exact but close enough). That would give me a Profit Factor of 2.15 wich would be ...

Thanks for clearing this up for me.

Hey Mike, I wonder what you are looking for there.Looks to me like kind of a pinbar at a swing low so what would be the point.Or do you mean you want that to turn into a bullish outside bar? Edit:Yeah thats probably it, so you want to go long?

Wow, this is uncanny. His posts are mirroring Mike's all the way down to how they adress people. There is no way that this guy hasn't read Mike's stuff.Former PF member? But I have to say his thread is good. Very well structred.

Thanks mike great video ,great explanation.

Do you trade these wickplays on a lower timeframe? I assume you would put a stop right below the bar. Just curious as to how you cut a profit out of those, with that small of a target/tp.I know you don't care much about RR but still.

Hehehe this thread makes me laugh......hard. There was a time when I too thought that stuff like this could work but everybody who even remotely knows what he is doing has to understand that this kind of approach can only lead to ruin.I have no idea ...

UsdJpy trade. If you can catch one of these every once in a while and then manage to not totally kill yourself the rest of the time, then you have an edge.

Yes ,thanks a lot.

Somewhat surprised that you took this. Didn't look like a mike bar to me. Does anybody know whats up with Jaroo BTW? Is he on vacation or something?

Why go on a lower timeframe when you see something like this developing on 1hr? You posted the first Pinbar as it formed ,there was great divergence ,so whats the question? EDIT: Cheers Jankone BTW.Nice to see you here.

Well this isn't really a good pinbar on my chart. The body is much too big.But appart from that this trade just found resistance at a major M30 swing high, look at my second chart. This is why I think FTA's and getting your stop to BE is so ...

This looks much better. I personaly like to trade bigger swings so I would't have taken that one but thats just me.Just as a note for you you still draw divergence wrong. You don't use the wicks of candles, the RSI(like most indicators) uses closing ...

No you did not, and this is really just mash. I don't see why anyone would take such a trade. Its not like theres a shortage of proper setups, although the last couple of weeks where indeed a little slow. Still this is nothing. Wait for real setups , ...

Shouldn't have been a loss. It went right to its FTA, if you let it come back at you its your fault.
- stockEX replied Jul 23, 2013
More like the fastest way to ruin.Just because you have 80% winners does not mean a losing streak of 5-6 conscutive losses will never happen. Something about your post lets it look like you are trying to build a trading bot. This is a ...

Yeah, this is what its all about. Most people only look for win-loss ratios like it was the only aspect of trading. Its wierd, everybody here risks 2% per trade, some even risk less like 1% or 0,5%.But when the losers come they panic. That just makes ...

Nice Idea, But I don't agree with the conclusion of your little exercise. What this shows in my oppinion is just that S/R is everywhere. No matter where on your chart you mark an area there will be a price flip or some S/R area in the ...
