Hi traders. This thread is perfect for me. 4H and daily is like waiting for the grass to grow, and we miss out on so many lovely moves in the meantime. I always loved the TMS concept but preferred applying it to lower time frames. Scalping seemed a ...

Thanks for your input SJ. I feel bad that there is so much negativity on these forums. People should be under no obligation to share their charts, and members like Snarly give up their time and energy freely. It's a free forum, not a paid service. ...

Hey Sam, awesome work on this thread. Although there is little participation from others, I'm sure many are watching enthusiastically. Keep up the good work, as it's fascinating stuff.

Oh, Arjuna didn't die. I was referring to Big E from Trading Made Simple. My 'cult' comment stems from the almost religious zeal some people uttered when posting. Really, it got too much. I think the thread also deviated from its original message. ...

Are you not confusing this thread starter with Big E from Trading Made Simple? He was sick, but still managed to pass on his invaluable wisdom until his sad passing. This thread is kind of based on this, but using the 10ema, and on the 15minute time ...

Hello Mackintosh. to me, when you took that trade, you were heading into an area of support - just look to your left. Also, the yellow MBL on TDI was below the downward cross, and was also heading up at that point. This is an indicator of an up ...

Nelly, amen to that. Time for all of us to pull together and make pips galore as the great Big E intended.

Yeah, everything seemed to become really complicated here. It feels like a new beginning. Regarding the candle times, I admit that it confused me. 6AM UK time is 2 hours before London opens, and there's little happening at that time.

Wow, this thread feels very 'Zen' suddenly...loving it

Thanks for your replies guys. To be honest, I prefer the control and immediacy of 15 or maybe 30 mins. 4H is doubtless less stressful for most, but I think I'd find it difficult to place a trade and walk away. Maybe I'm a control freak There used ...

Hey Fame of Me, I noticed you're looking at the 15M time frame- is there a reason for that? I must admit the choppy markets over the past few days have made me ponder this too...

I must say, I'm glad that things seem to be taking a turn for the better on here. Over the past few months, I've popped in numerous times, and figured this thread should be called 'Trading More Complicated.' It's mental how things have deviated with ...

Hello Phx62 (and no quit), I was just wondering what gave you the confidence to take this EUR/JPY trade at this point, as you were perilously near to a round number and trading into the previous day's low. Do you consider these before going into a ...

Good day, happy traders! I've not posted on this thread, but have quietly gone about trading the TMS system in my own way. I hope to be a little more active on here in the future. Anyway, my question is this: On most TDI indicators, there's a ...

Hi all, I've been reading this forum, off and on, since its very first posting. The original method really suited me, and many others who were making good, consistent profits. Reading the first 400 pages is certainly enough to set you up with 2 or 3 ...

Hi guys... I think the rules ought to have changed since the huge recent volatility in the JPY, and recent Chinese economic data which is having a greater impact on currency markets. It seems to me that the least volatile period is after the London ...

Guys, I fully appreciate your work and commitment, but the essence really HAS altered. Yes, the system was originally indicator-heavy, though the common strand has been the 10EMA, and 200. At the beginning, there was no consideration of pin bars, ...

To a certain extent, I agree with both sides. I concur that the thread has morphed from its original format, but LE1 has since said that the original rules still stand, if that's what you wish to follow. This is what I personally like to trade, as ...

These charts are awesome, X-man - you clarified everything... thanks for all your time, patience and energy (and everybody else too!) I learnt so much from you today, and now feel more confident about those moves that bounce off the MAs. A zillion ...

Thanks X-man. I guess I just needed some clarification as to where you actually jumped in to your trade, but I kind of get it- like a rejection zone. Yes, I meant the slope of the MA..
