Range bar indi — What value printed in your experts log? I've attached another version that allows you to manually set the range bar size. You have to set it in pips/points, not as the integer pip value. For example, 10 pips on a 5 digit ...

Range bar ranges — What symbol are you using? I'm not sure how it could be wrong since it is taking the actual size of the previous bar and using it to calculate the distance of the lines. Did you drop the indicator on the chart after setting ...

Next Range Bar — Attached is an indicator I threw together that plots four horizontal lines on the chart, two above and two below current price. They mark the location where a new bar will open (and where the bar after that will open assuming ...

Horizontal Lines — If you mean the red and green horizontal lines, they indicate that you have a sell order active that has gone pretty far against you.

Indicators — Peter, When you next bundle up the indicators, I'd recommend renaming the "EMA 2,15 cross_mod2" to something without the 2,15 in it. Maybe "Fratelli_EMA_Cross" with a version number to match your current system number. Having the ...

Closing Trades — Are you sure you want to just close trades? If you do, you can modify the bot to add a line of code in the start() proc. You want to add a call to CloseAllTrades() as follows: //Trading times bool TradeTimeOk = ...

Possible Issue — Steve, I'm not sure if this is the issue, but shouldn't CloseAllTrades() reset BuyOpen and SellOpen back to false and OpenTrades to 0? I'm not sure if this would actually happen, but as written, the Start() proc could call ...

EA Fix — The issue in the second EA appears to be that you have the variables (hidden_sl, hidden_tp, etc.) defined as int instead of double. When you multiply them by Poin the value becomes zero. George

Screen Message — Any chance you know what the screen message said regarding the number of pairs you were trading? After the GU trade was entered it should have said "Trading only allowed for Recovery and Hedging, if enabled. Pairs trading: 4". ...

Too Many Pairs — Murph, Do you have any more details on the problem with opening too many pairs? Are the trades that go over the limit all opened at the same time? If the issue has already been discussed, just point me to the thread/posts and ...

Thanks — Steve, Thanks for the kind words. With that kind of encouragement you probably won't be able to get me to shut up now. George

Quick Fix for Pending Trades — I took a look at the code and I believe a fix can be achieved by adding a call to an existing procedure. In the start() procedure, there is a section of code where it checks to see if we are in valid trading ...

Servers Down — They do seem to be down. I haven't gotten any tick data since 16:50:12 GMT. I started to go through the process of chatting with someone in support, but quickly lost interest in waiting for someone to pick up the other end. I ...

Tokyo bank holiday — It is a holiday, but I usually still trade the Asian session if it is the beginning of the week.

Asian Trades — While this system is not touted as being for the Asian session, the principles all still apply. For example, in tonight's trading we've seen the following so far: Z1: The first trigger of the evening (well, evening for me) came ...

Early US Trades — Attached is a chart of this morning's possible trades during the US session. I'm relatively new to this method, so everyone else feel free to jump in. I've marked the three areas as Z1 - Z3. Z1 - Despite having a very ...

Guppy MMA — All the definitions and indicators that I have seen use EMAs. I am using a template from an earlier post (with different colors) and it actually uses separate EMA lines instead of a GMMA indicator. I believe the point of using the ...

My two Pips — I've read through the posts and like others have mentioned I am surprised there are so few people involved in the thread. Anyhow, as I was looking back over the charts, I decided to throw together an indicator to help evaluate ...
