I understand - what i was saying is it technically is not a trendline, but an upper channel line. In an up trend the trend line connects the bottoms not the tops. That's why i said your second example has more validity.

The first "bridge" is not a trendline but an arbitrary upper channel line which you shorted off the bounce. The second "bridge" makes more sense since it's more of a legit trendline.

This is one of the most basic concepts of forex trading. It's simple trend line trading where you buy or sell on the 3rd bounce of the trend line. If you find this confusing you're in trouble.

Tazca, For a down trend, the line connects the highs. For an uptrend, the line connects the lows.

I dont have to stare at charts, draw trendlines and screw around with an EA. Thats the advantage.
