Hey oksana, Thanks for the indicator, can I also make a suggestion that would really help. Is it possible to have a time input in the indicator where we tell the indicator what time the session starts so that if the ib is below that open price of ...

Just increase the width of the yellow line, this way you can see it. I bet that was your problem. Let me know if it works out.

I did not get an inside bar on the USD/CHF, my high for that bar was 2 pips higher than the previous bar's high. Too bad, looks like that was a sweet trade you got there. I also got stopped out on the GBP/USD with 0 pips. After 3 hours of not ...

Yes that is an IB, but it is not tradable b/c time of day. Also it was below the days open, so you would be taking only shorts.

I totally agree, out of the 1000 post on this forum, I think that maybe 350 are worth reading, the rest is just noise. People analyze and over analyze and then critically analyze it again until they are so confused that they forget what system they ...

On my platform the 5am est bar and the 4am est bar on the GBP/USD both have the same high, 1.9802. So no IB for me. To bad, it would have been a nice trade with potential.

Yes, no rules for IB are broken, but do u still have high probability on your side?
- edwinnk replied May 22, 2008
I will have to disagree with the earlier responses to this post. I feel that once an IB is broken and stopped out, that you are done with it. Just take the loss and move on. I feel that re-entering with the hope that you will make up your loss is ...

Oh ok, I you are using your own exit strategy. I thought you were using PeterCrowns exit strategy were when a trade hits 1:1, he closes half and keeps the original stop. That way if the stop gets hit, he makes +0 pips on it. This gives his trades ...

I think you are right, I dont believe he covered that aspect in his posts. It is a personal desicion. But I personally would not take the trade. This is a breakout strategy and price on that Eur IB broke to the top. when price comes back down 6 ...

I also took the GBP trade, but my eur and jpy trades are not stopped out just yet. jpy has a stop at 104.17 and eur has a stop at 1.5562. these stops are 1 pip under the ib that initiated the trades. did you tighten your stops? and if you got ...

Nasa, we have take off!! — Did anyone take the Eur/USD Inside Bar trade at 9 EST today? I saw it and was skeptical because of its 47 pip body, but I took it anyway because I determined that the Euro was headed higher, the probability was on ...

I feel that if we all put our heads together, we can fill in the blanks that we are missing from the DIBS method and have a really successful trading system. My main focus is this: We need to find the edge. This will reduce our losses and refine our ...
