Nice trading. I'm not one usually for intraday trading, but I was wondering what you look for in your setups? Looks like you might wait for the start of a trend then start entering on fractals, then look for the divergence between wave three and ...

I was expecting one higher move as well. It looks to me like we're probably now heading into a higher degree 4th wave (check the weekly chart). I have a break of support. Looking to go short at that last down fractal.

Hi Wab, On my monthly MT4 chart, it seems to me that wave (4) overlaps wave (1). It looks like based on your daily elwave chart that elwave has the same wave count. What rules do you (or elwave) use in situations where wave 4 overlaps wave 1? I ...

Excellent information you have here Wab. Even though I understand how EW is suppose to work with BW's technique, I've always wanted to be a little more in depth with the Elliot Wave. I'll be following with much interest.

I'm not sure I agree with your count on the E/U. Mainly for the reason of the AO. The 4th wave is not nearly close enough to the 0 line (most of the time it has to fully cross). I've attached a chart, and although the current count is actually the ...

Yes! Precisely what I mean. We're on the same page. I often times don't really express what I mean very well with the different degrees of elliot waves, lol. It all seems to somehow make sense in this noggin' of mine, though! Lol. We'll see where it ...

Wisest words I've heard in quite a while! I couldn't agree more. That's the type of thing that Bill Williams teaches, and which I try to be a devout follower.

I remembered that we were talking about fib levels earlier and (more to just ease my curiosity) decided to see where we were at. The low of that C wave in my previous post also happened to fail to break the 61.8 level if you take the fib levels from ...

To follow up: Here are a couple charts. If anyone sees any flaws, let me know. I'm only human. The first is the EU daily. The second is the EU 4hr.
- daerus replied Jul 22, 2008
Anyone else seeing the potential completion of that A-B-C corrective pattern on the EU 2nd wave down? (Daily chart). Look at the 4hr, you can see the correction a little easier. Maybe I'll post a chart. If, for some reason, we keep seeing lower lows ...

Ahh, ok. I understand now.

Oh, hmm.. which bar are you talking about? We might be talking about different bars. I was talking about the big up move on the 15th. Which just turned into a fractal (as long as the current bar doesn't go higher - I doubt it, haha). And yeah, ...

Yeah I will do the same with yesterday's candle if it turns into a fractal. Plus, if it turns into a fractal, that would probably be the end of wave 1 (of the 5th wave), and a break of that fractal would indicate (to me) that we're probably in wave ...
- daerus replied Jul 15, 2008
This is how I'm seeing it (see pic). So if that is indeed the end of wave 1 of the 5th wave and the completion of a double three corrective pattern, then you might see a slight pullback for wave 2 (of the 5th wave) before heading up again.

Hi Rcwso! You're pretty much in the same situation I am in. Have that daily fractal from the 7th. Are you seeing the fractal from the 13th on the 4hr chart? I just reformatted my computer, I need to install photoshop or something again so I can get ...

Awfulllyyyyy quiet in here! Anyone have any open trades or potential chaos setups or anything they're looking at? I mostly just trade the euro on the daily chart... should be at the beginning of a 5th wave according to the AO/Alligator. ...

I'm not sure if I fully understand. What do you mean by VFH and VFL? I'm not familiar with those... perhaps that will clear it up.

Indeed bro! How goes the tradin'?
- daerus replied Jul 6, 2008
Correct. Fx Genius posted this from reuters a couple pages back: url I'm curious as well if oil will be trading cheaper on tomorrow's open because of this. Maybe...

I'll second tradingrooms.com. It's pretty good for being free. The actual sharing of live charts leaves a little to be desired though, in my opinion. Would be a good option though. giraia_br, I like your quote thingie in your sig.
