Taken in isolation, it's not really a success. But if the other seven months of the year were profitable with your methodology, and you traded the break even period to the letter of your plan, then i guess you would consider it to be a success.

I don't mean to be an ass, but if it showed you ahead of time we'd all be millionaires. It is calculated from past data, and is another way of showing you what has happened up to that point. Whether its prophecy is fulfilled is another matter.

Exit at a MACD (8,12,9) Negative Divergence, or when price fails to make a new high or low and then starts to reverse. As a further refinement to the entry, you could try just entering off those retracements that exhibit Hidden Divergence.

I'm seeing negative divergence on both the 1 hour and 4 hour charts, it's also at the 61.8 fib retracement of the move down that started on the 26th September. I think the odds are favourable that it will come down next week.

Turbo, in the example you posted above are you looking to go short when price touches the 8/8 line, or are you looking for something additional to confirm entry?
