I know very little so am least of anyone qualified to answer your post, but. I place my trade and walk away. I don't sit and watch it. Put in 40 pip stop loss and 40 pip take profit and leave it alone.

I knew I had seen it somewhere. Read through the whole thread and it wasn't Dreamliner that said that - it was Abokwaik - post 181. Nevertheless I think it's a good rule. Wait till the trend gets going before you re-enter.

Just found the Depth of Market indicator built into MT4. It works almost perfect as to what I want. I mainly needed speed for placing an order within a few seconds of the market open and this does that. I can place my trailing stop later.

I'm no expert - but - exactly right if you suspect the trend is going down. If you think the trend is going up place your buy stop order where you are presently placing your stop loss and your stop where your sell order is.

I only trade the dots that also have the zig-zag. Only trade with the trend. It feels sometimes as if you are missing some good trades but this way you get a better win rate.
