Thanks — Thanks for your reply Shaggy. I've carefully read your post and compared it to my chart and you're right. This was the reason for my post, to get direction like this. Thank you very much. Although, now I realize that I must learn the ...

Gartley chf/jpy — Hi everyone, I just started studying the Gartley pattern. Its not my bread and butter in forex but it looks like it will provide a great synopsis of what the market is doing and provide some nice price targets. I've attached ...

By the way... — Xaphod, if you ever invent an EA for this method, I think you'd be looking at a nice comfortable early retirement, probably someplace tropical. just a thought

Nice!! — Ibfx just changed their live server to 5 decimals yesterday and its a big pain. This is just what the doctor ordered for one of my favorite indis. Big thanks Xaphod & Neo!

Great reply and great advice Amy. I figured it was just fear and propaganda by ecn brokers playing on the bad trades of retail traders. I've never had an issue either and my only live account is with a retail. Amy, do you ever plan on posting your ...

That is great. I've been experimenting with something similar in demo but haven't perfected it enough to try it in my live yet. Amy, do you notice any difference between your ecn broker and your retail broker in regards to your stops being taken out ...

With a 10 pips stop, are you using an STP, ECN or retail broker? When you say large position sizes, what is your percentage of account per single trade? If you looking at 100 pips swings, what TF are you using and what your average time holding a ...

You started this thread in March. Did you start the live account that is up 950% in March as well? What are your money management and risk ratio rules if you don't mind my asking? Thanks

Wow! — Are those three accounts live or demo?

Stats — Hi AmyC, I really like your thread. I think this is a great idea, because as traders we usually are in the zone of the moment during the trade and documenting the thought process behind the entries and exits, would probably prove to be ...

Thanks Neo, I appreciate the advice. I was looking at MB Trading who is ECN, but their mt4 server kept crashing. I'll just try to keep my finger on the trigger so they can't hunt me

Thanks Neo. I know this isn't a 'broker discussion' thread, but I just went live with ibfx. anything I should look out for with those guys?

So if you have profit-tracker on your IBFX, you just live with the extra digit in the points column or is your ibfx profit tracker adjusted / modify?
- UncagedEagle replied Jun 17, 2010
Profit Tracker — Hi Neo, I just opened an account with IBFX and they use an extra decimal on everything. The 'points' column in Profit Tracker is showing the number of pips times 10 this there a way to adjust it? Thanks for your help.

mid 137's — I see a lot of you guys on here are targeting the mid 137's. Its pretty obvious that if we can close above this 135.80, then once we close above the round number of 136, its a straight shot and a safe shot to the previous swing ...

Bull Flag — Anyone else seeing this bull flag forming as the beast gets pressed up against the 134.00 R1 and round number? If its pops, looks like smooth sailing to 134.60. I'm just getting my feet wet on geppy, so please correct me if I'm ...

Fair enough — Absolutely, that 132.20 level showed really strong support for 11 hours. If we can confirm (not just brake) below that, it looks like we're good for a 60 pip drop (busting the 132 round number) down to 131.60.

Thanks Xaphod, I appreciate it!

buying??? — Looks like the buy/long confirm wouldn't be until it 132.80/85. It does not look like it has the steam to do that. My short from 132.70 to 132.40 was good enough for me. I'll wait until EO and LO before I mess with the beast again.
