Spot on, again. I go back around 6 months, not more.

Glad to see some people writing EAs that use decent time frames and TP/SL levels. A 10 pip TP on a 5 minute chart is no way to trade imo.

Cool! Nice plots too Probably the best free alternative to Matlab, at least for time series analysis.

Well that's quite a list. I would definitely have some of these but at a quick look, I surely have the Gambler's Fallacy. That's why I'm a counter trend trader and why I love oscillators more than moving averages

I can say (at least for myself) that what I consider by a forecast is when my NN, already trained using historical data, outputs the expected closing price for a certain period (1D, 1W, 4H, etc.). That forecast is usually a part of the trading ...

By cognitive, I mean an indicator that would give you a "larger" view of the market, or a certain pair. A "helicopter view", if you prefer that term. It could be a vector of several characteristics, but the key idea is how it would be presented to ...

Thank you for replying Tyler. When you say failed, can you clarify what you define by that? Was the prediction error too high for example? I've tried to take the NN output (+error) and make it a part of an EA. Since I (just like you did) only ...

X = 2->5 If you choose to use 5, I assume that if you have a 55% expectancy there is no real chance you'll have 20 losing trades in a row. I've simulated a million random 50% win expectancy systems on Matlab, and I've never had more than 13 losses ...
