Hello Dan, You're very organized, I guess that's also one of the reasons you're successful. Did you also post the trades for first 8 months of 2009 or are you going to? Very interesting stuff. I looked the same for me too, for 3 months, then I ...

Hello guys, It seems E/U is currently way off the trend line. Is this a change of trend? G/U is bouncing in a big range from quite some time (since May), so no news there. A/U seems to follow closely the E/U and went off trend line. What do you ...

Hello guys, Several people here said that 100 pips SL is usually enough to cover market noise. This is true for EU, but with GU can be really madness sometimes. During last 3 months, noises on were even 300 pips. This pair is more volatile and ...

I see G/U heading to the 1.6250 which is near 50% Fib on D1 chart. So I think going short from 1.6250.

Hello Dan, What do you mean by "300 bar chart" ? How do you see the zoom level in MT4? Sorry if the question is not so related to the thread.

Thank you Dan. I know I still have to work on myself What about current situation? E/U seemed to go up again, but there is not enough strength. My position was closed so I am only a spectator, waiting for a good entry point. The G/U it's still a ...

Hello Dan, Please tell me, when you are using 100 pips SL, moving it manually, I think each time the trend reverse you "lose" 100 pips , so you never get the top unless you manually close the position. Is this right? I am asking this because lately ...

I am trying to figured out if G/U follows a real downtrend or just is bouncing in a big range. If it's the second option, I think it just reached the bottom and will start to grow. I hope not What do you think? Also, for E/U seems a good ...

Just went long at 1.4500 on E/U. I have also a short position opened on G/U at 1.6105. I saw G/U increased a little, by 50 pips or so, but I hope it will resume the downtrend.

I seems there is a big struggle on E/U around 1.4550. Are you waiting for the price to hit 1.4500 to go long?

Hello Dan, I had some bad trades on G/U mostly because I used my emotions too much, instead of be patient. How lower do you expect the E/U price to go down before opening a long position?
- fxacs replied Sep 29, 2009
Dan said someone told us never to trade in August. That was a good advice. Unfortunately September was not too good either Hoping to a retracement on E/U and a trend established on G/U (I think it's a downtrend).

After a bad start of the week with several losses on G/U I managed to recover the hole But now I have no transaction opened. What do you think about current situation? For me this is how things are: E/U - I am waiting for a good retracement to go ...

What do you mean by "trendline will hold" ? On my charts the price is still way bellow D1 trend line. What I see now is a key support level around 1.6110.

Hello Dan, Last week was very bad I had several failed trades on G/U. I thought a trend was reestablished, but I was so wrong. Looking forward to a better week.

Hello Dan, Yes, I entered U/J, but a little late, to wait for a confirmation. At some point, due to some good news released by FED, USD started to go up and U/J reached the 50% fib level on H4, somewhere around 91.50. But I didn't want to enter then ...
- fxacs replied Sep 15, 2009
Sorry for that. I meant the 50% fib on the 4H chart.
- fxacs replied Sep 15, 2009
According to the daily chart you posted price might go up more above 50% fib level and still be in the trend channel. Then, after the price closes to upper border, we can expect to go down again. Am I wrong?
- fxacs replied Sep 15, 2009
USD/JPY is closing on 50% fib level. In fact for few minutes that level was reached. I am thinking to short it, since the trend is clearly down.
