MA Crosses — Hi, Regarding MA-crosses in the EAīs. It is absolutely neccessary for any EA (and manual trading also) trading MA-crosses to initiate trade after previous bar has closed. If one wouldnīt do that there would be a lot of opened ...

You are correct, I will switch my focus. Could you please elaborate more on what methods you have used for tpīs, slīs, beīs etc so that I can implement them in my version of the EA? Thanks for your work with this. / McKeen

Hi again TCO, after testing your version I wonder, It seem to be opening orders between the bands, is it supposed to do that?
- McKeen replied Oct 17, 2010
Ooops.. It has been corrected, I had only tested it with the ATR in all haste... I will look into the other changes later when we see which one will be used mostly. Mine or TCOīs. I think it would just be confusing with 2 different pieces. / McKeen

NB TMA EA — First a sorry to NB for perhaps going on too hard, my intentions are not to insult you or flame your thread. I just felt these things were important and I felt you werenīt listening. I am sorry. Now on to the good part (to cure the ...

Donīt delete your posts — Your first line in this quote describes this situation very good, that is exactly mine and yours point that somehow wonīt be understood by some. Please donīt delete your posts. OP has a responsibilty towards his ...

omg — And as if the previous post wasnīt enough here you go again, showing that you havenīt even tried our contributions, but nonetheless want to prove your point. Because if you would have taken the time to drag and drop the indicator to your ...

I hardly canīt believe what I am reading here!!! In one single post you are making all theese claims, 1. Backtester is flawed and therefor canīt be used, or at least what we are presenting is incorrect! (2 independent mql4 programmers) 2. When you ...

Nice to see someone who really understands — Good job zznbrm! I am happy to see someone else take notice of this optical illusion from a correct perspective. You have made a better job to demonstrate itīs real face than me and I can only hope ...

Actually that is exactly what repainting is, but I can see that your definition is very strong so I am not going to start a discussion about who are right and who are wrong. Furthermore I would recommend you to just play around with that TMA tester ...

I am sorry but I do not understand what you mean. There is no reason for trying to improve the speed of that snippet of code I made because itīs only funtion is to record the data displayed by the TMA indicator on each individual bar with the result ...

My point were that this (TMA CENTERED) is absolutely useless because it repaints so badly. If there is another version of it that does not repaint please attach it so I can test that one too. I am unable to find it in this thread. Best regards / ...

TMA Backtest ea — In addition to my post above here is the backtester ea for anyone who would like to try for themselves. TMA CENTERED must be in indicators folder to work. Be prepared for a slow run though, since the indicator recalcultes all ...

TMA Repaints badly — Hi, Because the TMA CENTERED simply looked too good to be true I made a simple ea calling the TMA CENTERED with iCustom for the purpose of checking how much it would repaint. It is painting the current value of all 3 ...

That is just what I felt was a success with this specific test curve. I created it to be consistent and i must insist that it is considering the extended time period ( 2 1/2 years ) and high amount of trades (2000+). I have seldom seen a more lined ...
