I'm surprised they didn't sell their US business. That's been the trend recently: ODL, Hotspot, Itrade. Maybe they rather close the account rather than sell it.

Stop hunting on a demo? We've reached a whole new level of conspiracy. Maybe they're running out of fake money for the demo accounts. Also you put a link on your post which I think you meant coesfx instead of coefx. Didn't they go bankrupt? ...

This is very misleading because a fidelity bond doesn't protect funds in the event of a bankruptcy. It protects against emplyee theft of funds and fraudulent acts by individuals.

It's more so a lesson to be learned from trading the news. Just a general question here. Has anyone ever consistently put in orders before the news and gotten filled 100% of the time without slippage? IN my opinion this is more like gambling, ...

I've recently started using their no dealing desk platform because of this. They don't have any restrictions on entry orders with this one.

I don't understand why you think you would be immune to slippage by putting in your stop a day before NFP. Do you think an illiquid market somehow doesn't apply to your market order because of this? It seems as though there's some misconception ...

The question to ask here is is meta-trader displaying the "correct price" or is FXCM? Looking at the way the FX market works, being over the counter, looking at one dealer won't give you an idea of where hte markets at. I would recommend trying S&P ...

Why would any broker in their right mind allow you to do that??? This is basically giving you free money with the broker eating the cost of your negative interest position. Am I missing something?
