not trying to turn this thread into a geo lesson, but when you center the map, be sure to center it around Xi'an. HK is consider south. Xiamen, now thats south east. Ask someone who's born there and lived there for a change.

um, i lived in China for 28 years i think i may know a little bit more about it than you do. Guangzhou is in the south, period. nobody here thinks its in the south east.

since when is guangzhou in the south east? I've been to guangzhou countless times and it's nowhere east. 5000*100,000USD = 500,000,000 so thats 500 million dollars. For this kind of size you'd have to go inter bank and very often even they can't do ...

I was at GS last friday and let me tell you what, people are not happy there. They're looking at another 5% before January. The franchise is doing poorly, their prop team can't find counter party to trade with. It's tough times ahead.

when you get libor hanging at 400 and IG 11 in the 200s, I'd be surprised to get a narrow spread in FX.
