The cycle shop owner would suggest the cycle with a frame geometry that suited you more. The performance of the cycle comes from you and how your body interacts with the geometry of the bike. Similarly both Jacko and James16 are equally good but ...

DT, I take it the rule you feel has been violated is the no signal services rule. If it is, then your demands for proof of trading success isn't really necessary since it has no bearing on whether Jacko is signal service or not. Also Jacko makes a ...

DT, It seems to me that your beef is ultimately with the moderators of the forum. You have stated your case, have been in contact with the moderators and they will or will not, at some point, act on your complaints. The internet is a big bad ugly ...

Trades and size of trades: I don't know so no comment. Several members being the same person: I would have thought the moderators could check this with IP addresses or some such. I not that IT savvy but I'm sure it could be done. You are in contact ...

DT, The company registration number (CR number) is 1257428 on the GovHK website. I suppose I've avoided naming his funds name on the forum this way! I had a look in the company documents list and annual accounts aren't there, unless they are in the ...

DT, the quote you have there seems to be from the funds blog not the group blog. I don't read the fund blog, in fact can't even remember the password to access it right now. As such i can't comment on that quote. But if he failed to give the group ...

I don't need proof, as a member I have full access to his blog and I do not see any 160 pip claim there. re: Hong Kong listed companies, I managed to find his fund listed and it states it is still an active company. Maybe you have the wrong name for ...

I don't see anywhere on Jacko's blog on december 4th(I think you meant 4th not 5th), or anywhere near that date, any claim that he made 160 pips. The message that you have there refers to a trade taken earlier that week which by his own admission ...

Bernard, I do understand your problem but I'm wondering how you plan to do trades when you eventually no longer have access to Jacko's SMS's. The trades will still be coming up at around the same awkward times for you but you're going to have to get ...

My neighbour has an Aspire-one and the trackpad on it is awful. I think alot reviews of it say the same. This, for me, is an issue as I don't want to be carrying around a mouse as well. I have a Dell Mini, better trackpad, a bit smaller, but slower. ...

I normally keep about 30% in. The rest is kept in Premium bonds and an instant access savings account. Any Premium bond winnings and savings interest is added to my total account, not that it amounts to much. Tim

A series of higher highs and higher lows for an up trend. A series of lower highs and lower lows for a down trend. Tim

I know that he definately had one closed early by Mark (his ex-broker trading partner) last week, it was a Friday trade and he doesn't leave positions open over the w/e, which will explain the early exit. But yes he generally does let the trade play ...

I think Jacko uses 4 different brokers and spreads the trades between them, so it's only 50 contracts each. Also the 100 pip SL is very rarely hit, if the trade is obviously going the wrong way he'll bail out earlier than 100 pips. Tim

I suppose it depends on how they define main income. I could go to the tax office and ask but that might just red flag me to them. If they do insist on taxing me then with CGT at a flat 18% now, it would be better to just use a normal broker and pay ...

Seeing as we're on the subject, any idea what the tax situation is if (hopefully) my only income comes from trading with spread bets? Some say I'll have to pay income tax as it's my main income, others say still no tax. Anybody in this position ...

AFAIK but I may be wrong SB winnings are classed as gambling winnings and if they taxed your wins then you should also be able reclaim against your losses, which means they would lose out overall. Tim

I spread bet with CMC. No complaints other than the charting is crap. I use an Alpari demo for charts. Tim

I've been using Alpari demo for charting and CMC for the spread bets. Had no problems with CMC so far(2 years), occasional requotes on market orders when the market is moving fast, like during news, sometimes in my favour, sometimes not. Fair ...

A few weeks ago I was following Abu's posts and quickly came to the conclusion that although his analysis may generally be ok his application of it in trading was very vague. I also noticed that he didn't update his blog with all his losing trades ...
