Let it make it's way out of this and then we will see more clearly. I mean, without some confirmation we can speculate all day

Yes, monthly also looks slightly bearish, but net long positions in COMEX silver are near multiyear low yet silver is not falling, which means that the area around 33 is a new fundamental bottom. See here. I think it may keep ranging between 33 and ...

Silver — Weekly silver pattern looks bullish, but daily is starting to look bearish: on futures we see spinning tops followed by up candle on very low volume, on SLV we see a doji star, also on low volume, and on spot we see hanging man. Last ...

Definitely don't, I don't like it either

Scale — Bones, the difference is that MT4 is using only linear scale, while ProRealTime is using log2 scale (which is the correct scale for plotting price in time). On longer timescales or when prices are in tens or hundreds or higher ...

Traffic jam! I like it Yes, those monthly hammers and hanging mans everywhere may be sign of reaching summer doldrums.

Gold — I have been looking into crystal ball trying to figure out where gold may end up at the end of this year, and spotted monthly hanging man. Needless to say, exactly the same situation happened in February 2006 (first horizontal line), ...

I think the reason may be that the flight to safety from euro and dollar goes to both swiss frank and gold. But it does not work that way all the time, e.g. between 2005-2010 frank was depreciating against gold too. At some point it may start ...

Directions — Bones, I have found it very usefull to use CHF or gold as a reference points in studying currencies (USD, EUR, GBP) instead of indexes (both LFX and USDX), because indexes contain too many moving targets, while CHF and gold are a ...

To clarify: I don't sell on monthly or daily charts, but on 4H or 1H and hold for few hours, 1-2 days max. Just to put things into perspective. Of course I would not advocate selling bottom on weekly charts. That would not be reasonable. But ...

Yes, but hammer does not mean much on itself unless confirmed. I will keep on selling rallies on lower timeframes unless there is a clear reversal on monthly or change in fundaments. Dollar has been "near low" for the last decade most of the time ...

EURCHF — Same for EURCHF, heading towards parity?

USDCHF — Some end of the week charts. USDCHF closed the week at new historical minimum with nice long candle, in my view good for shorting for at least next month (end of QE2).

USDJPY — Bullish engulfing after hitting the trendline.

Even better, until Fed's printing presses are decomissioned, forget there is a buy button on USDCHF and sell the rallies. Countertrend trading can be quite unprofitable.

USDCHF — Three back crows on USDCHF. The last candle closed below previous historical low. Does not happen much on this pair, usually there is a retrace before a break. Looking for another short between 0.8640-0.8670, maybe even lower.

Silver heads up — Watch this area for reversal formation.

USDCAD H&S — Tmac, in that case he got it right. Also note that he is looking for a short with H&S as a target, which is a sensible idea (from about 0.9900 if the candles say so).

Thanks — Thanks Bones, I took long vacation from posting to improve my trading skills first, hopefully I will be able to contribute something that makes sense (though I trade only precious metals and USD/CHF, EUR/USD and EUR/CHF).
