Roofx, thank you very much! I took a look at the history - your M-15 system looks awesome! And I think we can trade not only EURUSD and GBPUSD, but almost all popular currencies! You probably already explained how EURGBP helps you with cable and ...

Thank you, Marcuss!

I think we can scalp M-15 with BBands 5,1

Marcuss, thank you for sharing! So, the length is 26. What is the deviation, 1 or 2?

Roofx, right now, as I said, I'm trying another system and don't trade BBands 8,2. But I look forward to going back to good, old BBands 8,2! But when I traded BBands 8,2 (on H-1, GBPUSD and GBJPY, SL 50), I was winning almost all the trades. That's ...

Roofx, it sounds interesting, I'll be waiting for your results, thank you! There is another way to deal with SL, Indrek explained it here: url And after we calculate the stop loss, we can set TP twice as much as SL. So maybe it is worth your while ...

Roofx, I think it depends on the currency, but TP 100 seems a little too big. I traded H-1 GBPUSD and GBPJPY using several different systems (including BBands 8,2), and I think for these two currencies SL 50 and TP 80 work just fine.

Roofx, thank you for your answer. I think it is a very smart and reasonable money management.

I'd better not to say anything about what I detected here...

You must be freaking kidding me... The whole point of working with the broker and getting a leverage is: USING OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY! Traders make money on FOREX thanks to using other people's money! And if you mortgage your house - it is YOUR bloody ...

First of all: please pay attention when you read other people's posts! Deusomega didn't ask me about the edge, he asked kk007! Second, if you think that the trader can successfully run the system that doesn't fit his personality - YOU'RE WRONG! A ...

No, no, don't be shy! You're much luckier than I'm!

I think it is a very good point. And, of course, Kostas succeeded because he found a system that fits him and because of the very smart money management.

If for you (probably the only one on the ForexFactory) "leveraging is not a problem" and "brokers are not the only source of leverage" then you are a very lucky guy.

Roofx, thank you for sharing! Great job! Could you tell us more about the money management? I understand that it depends on the trader's preferences (risk etc.), but what lot size would you recommend to trade (H-1, six pairs)?

That's how people blow up their accounts... I'm sure I said nothing about your math skills. But if you want to talk numbers - that's OK, let's talk numbers! First of all, you can't set 1 pip = 10%, your broker wouldn't allow to do it. In the very ...

I knew you would say something like this! But I didn't say "The guy who is interested in how others make money". I said: "The guy who likes to count other people's money", HUGE difference!

hanover, great post!

luckylady explained it so good that I can't add anything. Just one more thing: there's nothing personal, but the guy who likes to count other people's money will never have his own money. Sad but true. P.S. Bye-bye! Have to go to bed!
