And today's trades (still open), all following the classic EP. Second one (G/J) doesn't follow the rules 100% as the first leg (depending how far one is willing to include the start of the leg) doesn't cross the dragon.

Not long after I posted yesterday, AU broke-out for shorts; 100 pips profit

First post on here; although I have been lurking for a while and tried to get into the system in the past, it appears I just wasn't ready yet. Anyhow, here is what I am looking at at the moment Looking to go long if dragon angles up in the next few ...

He simply missed the point where I was showing how every CZ eventually breaks from a range; he appears to think I traded all of them instead of being able to accept a loss. He saw that it took 7 trades and thought he needed 100 % wins and that I was ...

Our equity/risk leverage are different. I am not currently able to sustain up to a 4th recovery trade using MGale x2.
- Jayf19 replied May 16, 2013
Yup; I was simply illustrating that that all CZ's will eventually resolve into a decisive breakout one way or the other. That and the settings that you are using do not match with my personal MM plan.

It's over, it only took this monster 7 trades to get there. Rare occurrence, but price never stays stuck within a range forever.

Well, actually, it's you who has helped me seeing it for what it is. Sometimes, we need to hear (read) it differently to see the big picture (a lot of senses involved in that sentence). Therefore, I must thank you for the insightful posts. :nerd:

Perfect chart 101 to test people. This is a perfect CZ per SSBO standards, it is 20 pips high, and has been ranging for 8 hours (32-15 minute bars). My MM stopped me at 3rd trade. Not that I'm not interested to go any further, I am just trading ...

Unfortunately, this pretty much confirms why I stopped posting here... lol

Boom, 6 million pips in 100 days, took a whole 3 minute to dial in these numbers with 90 % + win rate. SP is one of the few that has been able to put his "ego" aside in this thread. He is the only one who has been able to publicly open up his fears ...

Oh dear... You can keep looking for the holy grail of settings on demo while SP and I trade the system live and understand what we actually are doing. Good luck!
- Jayf19 replied May 11, 2013
If you are courageous enough, Argon, follow what SP has told you WITHOUT the indicator. No back testing (unless you have trouble identifying CZ, or unless you want to understand what happens AFTER a CZ has appeared - but then that would mean you ...

This issue has already been dealt with in the past. Learn to understand how certain functions of the indicator behave with MT4.

One last note.. The answer to this question lies to your individual risk tolerance / trading plan and money management. Let's say for example that your settings show that you get to a 3rd recovery once every once in a while, you might not be willing ...

Without going in detail, when using AntiMGale (0/1) vs MGale (standard x2); the actual difference starts appearing on the third trade. Both the breakout and first recovery will show the same values. The AMgale starts to decrease lots on the 3rd ...

The MGale math works, learn to understand both variations using standard application (no fractions). Once you see how it performs, then you can start playing with fractions and understand what you are trying to accomplish. I have made several posts ...

Makes much more sense

Great post; to me, this summarizes what I mean by "removing emotion" from the trade, in a sense which one should not be driven by fear or greed or whatever emotion to dictate the way they trade.
