Shares of Fiat Chrysler halted on Thursday after the United States Environmental Protection Agency accused the automaker of using software that allowed excess diesel emissions in about 104,000 vehicles. US-listed shares of Fiat Chrysler plunged more than 18 percent Thursday after Reuters first reported the news. Fiat shares halted after the EPA announced its accusation.
