Five people, including one woman, have been arrested during an operation in the Paris suburb of St Denis. The Paris prosecutor’s office said the operation, which involved sustained gunfire and reports of three people killed, was still ongoing at about 9 a.m. CET on Wednesday. Three men had been holed up in an apartment, with two further arrests made nearby, according to a statement. The identity of those arrested has not yet been established. (full story)
