Consumer prices in Germany in September 2015 were on the same level as in September 2014. The inflation rate as measured by the consumer price index fell to 0.0% in September 2015. A lower rate had been recorded this year in January 2015 (–0.3%). In August and July 2015, it had been +0.2% each. Compared with August 2015, the consumer price index fell by 0.2% in September 2015. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) thus confirms its provisional overall results of 29 September 2015.
