The inflation rate in Germany as measured by the consumer price index is expected to be +0.2% in July 2015. Based on the results available so far, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the consumer prices are expected to increase by 0.2% on June 2015. The harmonised consumer price index for Germany, which is calculated for European purposes, is expected to be up 0.1% in July 2015 year on year. Compared with June 2015, it is expected to be up by 0.3%. The final results for July 2015 will be released on 13 August 2015. (full story)
