Plus500 unfreezes more than 8,000 customer accounts

About 40,000 of its customer accounts in the UK are thought to have been locked following FCA review . Plus500, the troubled contracts-for-difference trader in the midst of a takeover, has unfrozen more than 8,000 customer accounts as it scrambles to meet anti-money laundering rules that have hamstrung its UK business. The Israeli company on Tuesday said it had as many as 40 employees reviewing trading accounts and that 8,457 had now been unfrozen.
