Trader Sarao Shouts He Was ‘Good at His Job’ After Losing Bail Bid

Navinder Singh Sarao defiantly told reporters that he had “done nothing wrong” on the fifth anniversary of the 2010 flash crash at the center of a cross-Atlantic extradition fight. “I’ve not done anything wrong apart from being good at my job,” Sarao shouted at reporters Wednesday from the dock after Judge Elizabeth Roscoe rejected his request to modify his bail terms. The comments were the first by the 36-year-old Sarao since he was charged by U.S. prosecutors with 22 counts of fraud and market manipulation.
