By almost every metric, America has come a long way since the depths of the worst recession since the Great Depression. Last year, we saw the best year of job growth since the 1990s, and over the past five years, America’s businesses have created 12 million new jobs — the longest stretch of sustained private sector job growth in our nation’s history.
