The last few days has seen the Australia 200 Index rally well off support around 5150 back up to a one week high just shy of 5300. Over the last week or so the Australia 200 Index has fallen steadily lower down towards support around 5150 and two month lows before rallying the last few days. Despite the strong last day, the medium term down trend is still in tact and the index needs to move convincingly through the key 5300 level to turn this around.
