The KOF Economic Barometer fell 0.8 points in November 2014. It now shows a reading of 98.7,following revised 99.5 points in October. Whereas the barometer had moved very closelyaround the long-term average in the last three months, the gap has widened now somewhat.Nevertheless, the indicator is retaining close contact to its average. Accordingly, economicdevelopment in Switzerland is likely to be marginally bumpier in winter. Within the banking sector and in industry, the economic climate has cooled somewhat.
